Jump Start Kids is an all day childcare centre with an equal emphasis on care and education. It is privately owned by Roger and Glenda Carter who share the management. We cater for all children from birth to school. There are many different cultures represented in the children and staff and we welcome that diversity.
All our fulltime teachers are qualified early childhood education graduates and most of them are also mothers.
We have a chef who prepares delicious meals and snacks based on the Ministry of Health recommendations for preschool age children. Some of the vegetables are grown by the children.
Included in the fees are nappies and bedding where appropriate.
The Centre is divided into three areas according to age and stage.
